Dr. Shahram Raoof, originally from Chicago, obtained his Bachelor of Science in biology with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago before relocating to Philadelphia to pursue his dental education. He graduated with honors in clinical dentistry, earning his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania, then furthered his expertise at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he obtained his specialty degree in periodontics and Master of Medical Sciences in oral biology.

With a focus on comprehensive patient care, Dr. Raoof has undergone extensive training in restorative dentistry at UPenn, and continued to refine his skills at Harvard, particularly in surgical procedures such as dental implants, sinus augmentations, connective tissue surgery, guided tissue and bone regeneration, and surgically facilitated orthodontic therapy.
