Born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, Dr. Ryan McCormick has dedicated his life to advancing in the field of dentistry. With a strong educational background that includes a Bachelor of Science in biology from Duquesne University, a Master of Science in biomedical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Doctor of Medicine of Dentistry (DMD) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Dr. McCormick brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as an associate dentist.

Since joining our practice in January 2024, Dr. McCormick has quickly become an integral part of the dental team. His passion for dentistry is evident in his commitment to continuing education, having completed courses in Invisalign, endodontic procedures, extraction with socket preservation, and aesthetic dentistry. Although not currently affiliated with any organizations, his past memberships include the American Dental Association, Greater St. Louis Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Western Pennsylvania Dental Association, University of Pittsburgh Dental School Alumni, and University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine Alumni Association, showcasing his dedication to professional development and community involvement.

What truly drives Dr. McCormick in his profession is the opportunity to interact with patients and assist them in achieving their dental health goals. He finds great joy in hearing the diverse stories of his patients, many of whom are not native to the Chicago area. The friendly atmosphere of his workplace, combined with a skilled team and the latest technology, makes coming to work every day a pleasure for him.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. McCormick enjoys an active lifestyle, which includes walking and running with his Italian greyhounds, Oliver and Enzo, playing golf, soccer, and tennis, and exploring the culinary scene of Chicago with his wife, Anna. Anna, a pediatric critical care physician at Comer Children’s Hospital, shares Ryan’s passion for making a difference in the lives of others. Together, they enjoy discovering new restaurants and experiences in the city. Oliver and Enzo, their beloved pets, bring additional joy to their lives with their unique personalities and quirks.
